Dental 3D Scanner

Open and versatile 3D dental scanning

We are using the latest state-of-the-art 3D scanner  to create accurate 3D scans of dies/stumps, inlay preparations, bridge preparations, bites/antagonists, wax-ups, full dental casts, and super-structures.

3D copies of the customer's dental casts or dies/stumps are available after a few minutes. Saved in an open format. The scanning system runs on a  standard Windows™-based PC.

Image processing software automatically processes the images and creates accurate and fully surfaced 3D models.

 Accurate and complete geometry

Unique features of the  scanner guarantee superior scan results. The scanner captures the full geometry of the dental model in one scanning session with high accuracy, including any undercuts present on the original model.

  • Fast and easy positioning of the objects in the scanner without compromising accuracy
  • Consistently high levels of precision are guaranteed by projective geometry and a novel calibration of the laser, cameras and axes
  • Undercuts on the original object are automatically captured: the object is placed on a rotation plate (360 degree rotation) and is moved along a linear axis (translation) and a secondary rotation axis (tilt) to ensure maximum exposure of the geometry to the cameras and laser

The brand-new scanner accurately scans a variety of dental prationsepar

 Premium 3020

The  Premium 3020 milling machine is largely identical in function to the Premium 4820. It differs in the size of the housing.  The Premium 3020 milling machine is smaller so that it may be carried through an 80 cm wide doorway.

It also only has a single processing dish which can be used for wet or dry working.
